Christine Beamon, MSW, LCSW, CCM, APHSW-C

Christine Beamon is a palliative medicine social worker on the palliative medicine service since 2017. Ms. Beamon received her master of social work from New York University Silver School of Social Work; she is licensed as Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), holds certification in case management (CCM) and palliative and hospice social work (APHSW-C). She has presented both locally and nationally in serious illness care. Ms. Beamon completed the Post Graduate Certificate Program for Palliative and End of Life Social Work at New York University. She is a published author in Mirrors and Windows: Reflections on the Journey in Serious Illness Practice and has published academically in the Heath & Social Work Journal. Ms. Beamon is a prior adjunct instructor with the Graduate School of Social Service as Fordham University teaching Social Work in Healthcare and Palliative Social Work. Her interests also extend to medical ethics and enhancing interdisciplinary support/communication.
